Back in February several Wexford Food Family members travelled to Laois to pitch for inclusion in the Grow with Aldi programme and we are delighted to say that three of our members were accepted.

Naturally Cordial
Developed in partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with Aldi is designed to help small and medium producers develop their brand with the chance to become a core range listing in all 142 stores. Grow with Aldi is a major feature of Aldi’s ongoing commitment to sourcing as many Irish products as possible. Last year Aldi spent over €700m with Irish businesses.
The programme is about supporting and nurturing Irish businesses. Aldi wish to flourish and develop Irish suppliers that they believe have the potential to grow and prosper further in the Irish market.
Jimmys Kitchen is a food manufacturing business specialising in Potato based products and they are supplying a potato cake in a herb bread crumb which is traditionally known as The Wexford Rissole and a potato cake in a golden batter.
Naturally Cordial produces award winning cordials using whole fruits to a traditional recipe, they will be producing a 330ml Lemon & Lime Leaf Cordial and 330ml Wexford Blackcurrant cordial. They have signature cocktails to go with both flavours which you’ll find on their website and social media channels.
Both these producers will be available on Sunday 31st May for 2 weeks across all 142 Aldi Irish Stores.
Artisan award winning gourmet mushroom producer, Fancy Fungi Gourmet Mushrooms have two products, Grey Oyster Mushrooms and Forest Mix Mushrooms both of which will be available at the end of August for 6 weeks across all 142 Irish stores.
